Commercial HVAC Services | Arctic Cooling

Commercial HVAC services from one contractor: seven trades in-house, airside-cleared engineers, same-day call-out across Heathrow, West London and the M4 corridor.

Seven trades. One contractor. All in-house.

Commercial HVAC services rarely stop at one trade. A new air conditioning system ties into the electrics. A kitchen refit pulls in refrigeration, plumbing, catering equipment and ventilation all at once. When those trades sit with separate firms, you end up managing the gaps between them, and every gap is somewhere for a job to stall or a fault to go unowned.

Our commercial HVAC services cover seven trades, and our own engineers deliver all of them. We keep subcontracting to a minimum, so you get one point of contact, one standard of work and one company accountable from survey to sign-off. If the electrics need to talk to the cooling, they’re already talking, because it’s the same firm doing both.

We’ve been trading since 2016, with approaching 40 engineers based around Heathrow and working across Heathrow, West London and the M4 corridor. We hold F-Gas certification, SafeContractor approval, Constructionline Gold and NICEIC Approved Contractor status. We’re a Daikin D1 installer, Daikin’s highest tier, which means extended manufacturer warranties on Daikin kit, and a Mitsubishi approved partner. Our engineers are cleared to work airside at Heathrow, Gatwick and Stansted, with signatory status and passes held directly in Arctic Cooling’s own name. If we can deliver at a live airport, we can deliver in your building.

The seven trades

Why in-house matters

Self-delivering seven trades isn’t a slogan. It changes how a job runs. One firm surveys the whole scope, so nothing falls between two contractors’ quotes. One programme sequences the trades in the right order, so the electrician isn’t standing idle waiting on the mechanical side. And when something goes wrong, there’s no blame-chain, no arguing over whose part failed. It’s our name on all of it.

That’s the difference between a full m&e services contractor and an air conditioning firm that subs out everything else. You’re buying coordination and single accountability across the whole job. It’s the same reason we can work in live, operational buildings, from data centres to hotels, without shutting the business down around us, because one team controls the sequence and the timing.

Where we cover

We provide commercial HVAC and full mechanical and electrical services across Heathrow, West London and the M4 corridor, generally within a 20-mile radius of Heathrow. If we can get an engineer airside at three live airports, getting one to a building in Hounslow or Staines is the easy part.

Put the systems on a contract

An install doesn’t have to be a one-off job. A maintenance contract keeps kit running, keeps you compliant and spreads the cost across the year instead of landing it in an emergency. Every client gets same-day reactive call-out. Maintenance-contract clients get a faster response, with cover up to 24/7 depending on the agreement. We look after sites across six sectors, from aviation and data centres to healthcare and commercial offices, so the systems we install carry on being looked after by the people who put them in. Talk to us about your building

Whether it’s a single system, a full fit-out or a maintenance contract across a portfolio, one firm can cover it. Tell us what you need and we’ll survey it properly before we quote.

Frequently asked questions

What is an M&E contractor, and how does it differ from an air conditioning contractor?
An M&E (mechanical and electrical) contractor delivers the building services a commercial property runs on, rather than a single trade. Arctic Cooling covers seven of them in-house: air conditioning, refrigeration, plumbing, electrical, catering, mechanical and ventilation, and maintenance. An air conditioning contractor handles the cooling and usually subs out everything else, which means more firms for you to coordinate.
One accountable contractor removes the gaps that appear when separate firms have to coordinate around each other. With seven trades under one roof, the same team surveys the scope, sequences the work and answers for the result, so there’s no blame-chain when something needs sorting. You get one point of contact and one standard across the whole job.
Every client gets same-day reactive call-out. Clients on a maintenance contract get a faster response again, with cover up to 24/7 depending on the agreement. With approaching 40 engineers based around Heathrow, we cover West London, the Thames Valley and the wider South East.
Yes, and it’s not easily borrowed. Working airside means signatory status, driving permits and engineer passes, all vetted and site-specific. Arctic Cooling holds airside clearance at Heathrow, Gatwick and Stansted directly in its own name. The same discipline that clearance demands is what we bring to any secure or live building.

Beyond Cooling — the wider Arctic Group

Arctic Cooling is the founding division of Arctic Group. Alongside us sit Arctic Scaffolding, Arctic Glazing and Arctic Fire — so where a project needs access built, a façade glazed or a fire compartment reinstated, it stays under one group, one set of accreditations and one point of contact.
